It works, it has Firmware version HS_Hat V1.4.7 i would like to upgrade to 1.5.2
It is on a RPi. it has a LCD on the port /dev/ttyAMAO
When i execute the command to upgrade it gets the firmware but errors with "
Using Parser: Raw Binary
Interface serial_posix: 57600 8E1
failed to init the device. "
As I use RpI, I can't do jumpers.What can I do to upgrade??

OK, this is not a hat with onboard radio, I have it connected to a small vhf radio for extended range gateway. Is this process the same? The paper work that came with the hat sent me to you webpage for support. Jumbospot MMDVM

Hello, I just received a portable MMDVM UVIAJ self powered (2 battery indisde) with a lithe screen on the face, seller promised to me it is a PI-STAR loaded device. But in fact I have OSTAR 19.07.3r1 1063-85e04e9f46 LUCI Master git-20.243.21 767-73ed9ca , very difficult to make understanding to the seller the device should be loaded with PI-STAR and this is not what I ordered. I think I will have to do myself the conversion.
the device lis a dual RX/TX vith 14.74 vco with onboard antennas. No problem for me on RF side , but it is another story on the software side . I would like to put myself PI-Star on this device. The CPU/Wifi board is badged with mt7988_16m_32m with a BIT ver:3.1 stamp , there is an empty bga footprint near the CPU so I think this is a 16 and not a 32 version , no rst button , only wps one. two mini usb , but no cp2104 chip on the board. If I make a PI-STAR image , does the tf card slot behind the screen will work or, do I have to wire a serial low voltage link to load via specific command? Hope you understand my level and you could help me to avoid lost my money, So what are the tools I need to load a new pi-star image on this device ? TNX. Patrice.
UVIAJ if have problem the DUAL Hotspot is work and fit the raspberry pi,PI-STAR only for raspberry pi board.if ostar have problem,just press WPS 10 sec,reset to factory .
i bought a HackRF with Portapack H2+. When i connect a spaker, its not working, also headphones not working. I activated the speaker (hide H1 speaker option and green symbol on status bar).
Debug settings for WM8731 shows something.
I dont know what to do...is it because the WM8731?
I also installed firmware nightly n_220408.

I want to attach it to the latest Raspberry Pi Zero.
It mentions that for Pi 4B, the R1 Resistor needs to be removed.
Is this the same for the Pi Zero?
Where is the resistor R1? My OLED screen came soldered to the MMDVM board.

Hello friends, I have the following problem, I have a HS UVIYN which transmits the WIFI signal with its name DMRP25YSF-D77A, when trying to connect to the device for configuration, the LuCI configuration page cannot be accessed, the wifi sign appears with sign "!" , I have tried pressing the reset button that the board has but it does not work, I also tried with the WPS and CPU buttons for 6 secs, but it does not work. Although the HS turns on and receives RF signal on the screen, there is no internet access and no access to LuCI.
Please help.

yes you can update just run
sudo pistar-mmdvmhshatflash hs_hat
if the MCU is GD32F103xxxx can't update by serial ,need ST-Link.

just buy which have USB' stm32_mmdvm_hs then upgrade fw sudo pistar-nanodvflash usb,you can ust usb to run bluedv
or ask the seller you want the usb mode for bluedv

first you check the RAM size is 64M or 128M then flash new OSTAR to fix this problem,tell your RAM size.
